State Ranking for 3A swimming

On the far right of the homepage is 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A
Under 3A click on 13-14 which is times for this year 2013-2014

You will see all the times listed in each event for girls and boys.
The top 16 swimmers get to go to state, and 2 alternates.
REMEMBER each swimmer can only do 2 individual events so many swimmers will drop out of an event if they are in the top 16 for more than 2 events.

COACH WANTS ALL SWIMMERS TO CONTINUE TO COME TO WORK OUT UNTIL THE TOP 16 ARE POSTED THE WEEK AFTER REGION.  COACH WILL ALSO BE DETERMINING WHO IS SWIMMING IN EACH RELEY.
Come to work out - February 3 to 7 @ 3:00p.m.

Team is meeting at IHOP on Martin Luther King Holiday-Monday January 20

10:00 a.m. - ALL swimmers invited to join together as a team and eat.

Work out at 3 to 5 p.m. - Monday January 20 

There is No meet on Saturday January 25 (there was a meet on the original schedule)
The teams that were going to come on Saturday are coming on Friday January 24 so the two meets have been consolidated.

Yearbook Pictures on January 15 - Wednesday @ 5:00

Swimmers please be to practice early on Wednesday so we can do yearbook picture in DRESS clothes prior to CHANGING into swim suits.  We may also take pictures of classes (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior) in the water after getting into suits.  Girls can still have dry hair.  More details will be discussed at workout on Monday and Tuesday. 

Three Swim Meets This Week

Thursday January 16 - Maple Mountain @ Cedar City  

Friday January 17 - Cedar @ Delta 

Saturday January 18 - Cedar @ Richfield.  

Thursday at Cedar Aquatic Center - Meet Start 4:30p.m. with a 3:30 warm up

Friday at Delta- Leave school by 1:00, excused from school @ 12:30

Delta Pool( 201 E 300 N, Delta, UT ‎- coming into town on Main or Highway 50 you turn right on 200 East, just after the stake house with the black bull on top)  - Meet Starts 4:30p.m. with 3:30 warm up

Team will eat in Delta after the swim meet, then travel to Richfield where they will stay in motel. 

Saturday at Richfield (600 W 500 N, Richfield, UT ‎-Exit 40 the north Richfield exit travel south on Main Street, turn right on 500 North) - Meet Starts 9:00a.m. with 8:00 warm up

MOTEL FEE FOR RICHFIELD IS $17.00 PER SWIMMER - Pay to CHS at the High School Office.  Debbie Slaugh is the finance secretary if you can take to her.  No Meet fee required for these meet.

Friday at 2:00 students excused from school - Bus leaves CHS parking lot at 2:30

Friday - Warm up 1 at 3:30 Cedar has Early warm up

             Warm up 2 at 4:00

             Warm up 3 at 4:30

Meet Starts at 5:15p.m. 

Saturday - Bus leaves CHS parking lot at 7:00

Saturday - Warm up 1 at 8:00

                  Warm up 2 at 8:30 Cedar has late warm up

                  Warm up 3 at 9:00 

Meet Starts at 9:45

If participants exceeds 400 we will have third warm up but if not enough swimmers the meet will begin 30 minutes earlier ( Friday @ 4:45 and Saturday @ 9:15)

$6:00 - Entry fee need to be paid by each swimmer to CHS office ASAP
