November 6 and 7 - St. George / MEET FEE $6.00

Greg Fernley Memorial Invitational Swim Meet  November 6th-7th, 2015  St. George, Utah   

 Location:  Sand Hollow Aquatic Center 1144 N Lava Flow Drive; St. George, UT; 84770   

 Dates:  Friday, November 6th, 2015  Warm-up: 1:00 – 2:45p.m.  Meet begins at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7th, 2015  Warm-up: 7:00 – 8:45a.m.  Meet begins at 9:00 a.m.  

Warm-up Assignments:  There will three 35-minute sessions assigned for Warm Up both days. St. George  teams will take the first warm up sessions for both days. The other Warm Up times will be assigned based on team preference and according to team arrival times.  

Entry fees:  

$6.00 per swimmer  - Cedar Swimmers need to pay meet fee to 

CHS office by November 2. 

Swim Caps - Extra available

Swimmers Extra Latex Swim caps had to be ordered to make a complete order.  If need another cap please check in with coach Coston or Leah @ 590-6935 or ljb1@live.com before you order more caps from DJSports.  Coach and Leah Brown will have those caps if later in the season need extra - $4.25

DJ Sports - Order SPEEDO WARM UP, Parka, Duffle Bags

ORDER SPEEDO WARM UP JACKET, PANTS, AND PARKA. Also available are duffle bags and caps.

Names can be added to cap, jacket, duffle bags, and warm up jacket.  All items will have embroidered Cedar High logo. Personalizing is optional.

Team Suits and Swim Caps - ORDER THIS WEEK (October 5-9)

Team Suits will be ordered by the end of the week - October 9. 

 $60.00 for Girls 

 $40.00 for Boys.  

You can pay $5.00 extra to have name on suit.  Suits are available at practice this week to try on.  Team captain and swim mothers will be there to collect sizes. Make sure we have your size, and CORRECT SPELLING OF NAME IF ADDING. 

Swim caps can be also ordered 

$11.00 for Silicone

$ 4.25 for Latex.  

Silicone is much stretcher and usually easier to put on.  Silicone usually last longer and does not ripe as easy. Latex work ok but are a little like putting a balloon over your head.  Latex has a tendency to pull your hair. Silicone is a little thicker and softer.  

Pay your money to Debbie Slaugh at the CHS office.  Then have swimmer bring receipt to swim team and show to swim moms collecting suit sizes. 

 If you have a problem with paying for team suit please call, email or talk to Coach Coston.  We do not want anyone to go without a team suit.  

CHS Swim Practice Starts Officially Today - October 5

High School Swimming Season Starts Today 

Attendance will be recorded and 90% is expected for performance in swim meets.  If swimmers are club swimmers (SUSA) they are allowed by Coach Coston to be in the water with Coach Blair on Tuesday and Thursday.  (Attendance with Blair will be verified)  SUSA swimmers must be at CHS on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Non club swimmers need to be all practices 3 to 5P.M. 

First swim meet is November 6 and 7 at the Snow Canyon Pool(Sand-hollow pool) - Swimmers will travel on the bus to all swim meets.  Parents are allowed to take home if they sign their swimmer out with coach Coston.  There will be 25 girls and 25 boys traveling to the away swim meets.  

First home meet is November 13 and 14.  Coach Coston needs more volunteers to help with computer, awards table, timing, and officiating.  If you have questions as to where you could help please direct your questions to Coach Coston 590-6069 or dickcoston@gmail.com
