FRIDAY - CHS SWIMMERS Excused from school at 11:30 and BUS LEAVES @ 12:00 noon

WARM UP - 1:30 TO 3:45 p.m.

MEET START - 4:00p.m.

SATURDAY - CHS SWIMMERS Meet bus Cedar High Parking Lot @ 7:00 a.m.

WARM UP - 6:45 TO 8:45 a.m.

MEET START - 9:00a.m.

Swimmers​ ​will​ ​be​ ​housed​ ​outside​ ​for​ ​this​ ​event.​ ​Due​ ​to​ ​limitations​ ​placed​ ​on​ ​the​ ​pool​ ​by​ the​ ​fire
department,​ ​swimmers​ ​must​ ​remain​ ​outside​ ​unless​ ​warming​ ​up,​ ​competing,​ ​or​ cooling​ ​down.
PLEASE BRING WARM CLOTHES - COAT, SWEAT PANTS, SOCKS, HAT. Important to stay warm.  BRING A BAG CHAIR - Easy-up Canopy will be set up for the CHS team.  The meet on both Friday and Saturday will last 4 to 6 hours - BRING SNACKS OR A SACK LUNCH.  There is a concession stand with some food options to purchase.  

ALL HIGH SCHOOL MEETS WILL FOLLOW THE SAME SCHEDULE

Registar My Athlete - complete before athlete can compete

Swimmers MUST have register my athlete forms complete, physical form and $40 fee handed into CHS office before athlete can participate.  

Go to registermyathlete.com 

Select UTAH, Cedar High, and choose Boys or Girls Swimming.  Follow directions to E-sign waivers, print off physical form to take to doctors appointment, and pay $40 on line or directly to CHS office.  

Those who are listed as incomplete my need to double check that you have selected sport (Swimming)

If it says your fee is missing and you have paid - do not worry it may just be the school is slow recording.  If you have turned in your physical form and it is not showing do not panic - the school has to manually add those into the system.

Officials Training - Swimming

The process to register has changed - You do not attend a class but complete information on Utah High School Athletic Association website.  

Directions to register as a Swimming Official:

• Go to the UHSAA Website. www.uhsaa.org
• Go to the Officials Tab located at the top of the screen.
• Go to UHSAA Officials Registration.  You will see -Welcome to Registration Dashboard-
• Scroll down to 2017-18 Swimming.
• Follow the instructions to register and pay the $55. fee as a Swimming Official through Arbiter Sports

Included in the registration fee is a background check, insurance and the Swimming and Diving Rules Book, which will be mailed to you once you complete the registration.

The clinic, handouts, and test to certify as a Swimming Official will be found on-line at  the UHSAA Website beginning on October 1st. To view the swimming clinic you will access the "Clinic" tab on the UHSAA Homepage.

Sizing Kit available to try on suits Thursday @ 5:15 and Friday @ 2:45 Aquatic Center.

MAKE ORDER BY OCTOBER 20 – Team receives money back from swim outlet for your order.  Money will be used to support State swimmers motel fee.  You will pay for suits and gear with personal credit card and items will be shipped to your home address.

OPTIONAL YOU CAN ORDER A WARM UP CUSTOMIZED EMBORDERED JACKET, WARM UP PANTS, AND BACKPACK.  PRICE WILL VARY ACCORDING TO WHAT YOU ORDER AND IF PERSONALIZE WITH NAME.  SWIM CAPS HAVE BEEN ORDERED SEPARATE AND EACH SWIMMER WILL RECEIVE ONE CAP FREE (CHS is covering this cost) T-shirts will be made with sponsor names on back and given to swimmers free.
