Parents can train to be an official


Parents: Please consider being an official for High School Swim


 2012/13 HIGH SCHOOL SWIM OFFICIALS TRAINING
Requirements for this swim season are: Everyone is required to take a Stroke and Turn clinic which is about 2.5 to 3 hours, but only those who will be working as a Referee or Starter must take the additional Referee/Starter Clinic which is an additional hour.
Everyone must attend one of the training sessions to be able to officiate on deck. The names of all those who attended a clinic will be posted on the Web site www.utswimcoach.com with their certification class. 
If you run a meet with people who are not on the list, 
not certified for the position they worked, the meet will not count.

Date: Wednesday October 17th 7:00 – 10:30 p.m.
Stroke and Turn Clinic held first, Starter and Referee clinic held last hour of class.

Cost for a Clinic is $20.00. Checks can be made payable to UHSSOA (Utah High School Swim Officials Association.) Payment may be made when you check in at the start of the clinic. Coaches need to make arrangements with Robyn if they paying for all their officials. Sorry we will not be able to allow anyone to go through the training without payment prior to the class starting.
You must RSVP to the class you will be attending ten days prior to class.
