Academic All-State nominations are open for winter sports. You may nominate seniors with a cumulative non-weighted GPA of 3.75 and above who are on a varsity roster. Please note that 3.7499 is not a 3.75. Do not round up any GPA's during the nomination process. Please go to your Academic All-State tab in RegisterMyAthlete to nominate students. All seniors who are listed on a team roster will appear on the Academic All-State tab.
Nomination Process
1. Reject and archive any student-athlete who does not qualify for Academic All-State
2. Decide if you will handle nominations yourself or if you will send an email to parents/guardians to nominate students
a. If you would like parents to be involved in the nomination process, click 'Send an Email to these Athletes.' It's important to have removed any non-qualifying students before sending this email.
3. Click on a student's name to access their nomination form. Verify/select their GPA, verify/enter ACT score, upload their transcript and press submit.
4. Once the status says 'Submitted to UHSAA' that student's nomination is complete.
The deadlines for winter sports are as follows:
Dec 15-Jan 12: Drill Team, Swimming, Wrestling
Dec 15-Jan 19: Basketball
Please login to your account. On the left side of the screen you will see an Academic All State tab, from here you will be able remove ineligible athletes.
