4A State Swim 2022


Every Swimmer that qualifies for State will need to pay the front office $26.00 for the Hotel, and bring the receipt to Megan during practice by Thursday.
All Swimmers need a Picture ID to be able to get on the pool deck. 

Friday Load the bus at 8:45am at CHS,  The Team is staying at the Hampton Inn in Provo, UT. Hampton Inn Hotel Address: 1511S 40 E St 

Students are excused from classes on Friday. They will need money for 4 meals. Breakfast is provided at the hotel. 

Friday Events: 200 Med Relay, 200 Fr, IM, 50 Fr, 100 Fly, 100 Fr, 500, 200 Fr Relay, 100 Bk, 100 BR, 400 Fr Relay

***Top 16 swimmers and  relays will be able to swim Saturday. (Same events as Friday)

State swimmers will stay one night Friday (Feb 11th) 

We will travel home late Saturday Night (Feb 12th) arrive at Cedar High about midnight on Saturday.

 BYU requires all spectators, 12 years old and older, to provide proof of COVID vaccination or a negative test to enter the facility. Masks are required for all attendees. For more information, visit https://www.byu.edu/coronavirus/events-activities


On the UHSAA website you will find the streaming link to watch the meet, they will have info on meet mobile. 



Athletes, Coaches, Officials and all meet personnel only need to wear masks, they don't need to show proof of vaccination or to be tested prior to the meet.

ALL spectators must show proof of vaccination or a negative test 72 hours prior to the start of the meet.

Below is the BYU Vaccination & Negative Test policies as it relates to spectators at the upcoming State Swim Meets. 
Accepted forms of proof of vaccination
Guests may be required to show a photo ID along with proof of vaccination.
  • A CDC-issued vaccination card including the name of the person vaccinated, the type of vaccination provided and the date that the last dose was administered
  • A digital photo of a CDC-issued vaccination card stored on a phone or electronic device
  • A printed photo of a CDC-issued vaccination card
  • An electronic vaccination record via the Docket mobile app

Accepted forms of proof for a negative COVID-19 test
Guests may be required to show a photo ID along with proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

  • A digital photo of negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test results. The test must be administered within 72 hours of the event time
  • A printed photo of negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test results. The test must be administered within 72 hours of the event time
  • At-home COVID-19 tests will not be accepted
  • Testing is not required if an unvaccinated individual presents proof of a COVID-19 diagnosis within the past 90 days (and the individual is no longer in the CDC-established isolation period).
(Parents)Admission to State Meets 
Prices for admission are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students, with a service charge per ticket, per session. All ticketing will be available through GoFan, with links on the UHSAA website. 
UHSAA pass holders must show picture I.D. at the Smith Fieldhouse ticket window to receive a wristband for admittance. Passes are non-transferrable. The Smith Fieldhouse is found across the quad from the Richards Building Pool and the ticket booth is on the north side of the building. 
Reserved seating is not available. Doors will open 1 hour before the start of each session. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Patrons are not allowed to save seats. The facility will be cleared after each session. 
A separate ticket must be purchased through GoFan for each classification session. Only ticketed patrons will be allowed admission to the balcony for seating

Participants, spectators, and fans must adhere to the UHSAA State Event Guidelines as outlined in the UHSAA Handbook. Part of the restrictions at state swim meets include no artificial noisemakers, air horns, bull horns, megaphones.
