State Swim '23

 

We will be loading the bus Thursday Feb 9th after practice at 5:00pm to go up to Provo. The Bus will pick us up in the Aquatic Center parking lot.  

Hotel fee will be $55.00, state caps will be $18.00 (one per swimmer).  Fees paid to the front office (cash or check) or online payments by CHS webpage (Swim Fundraiser). Bring Money for meals, Breakfast will be included at the hotel. No chairs, they will have chairs at the pool for the swimmers. Swimmers bring a tech suit and a backup suit just in case. Extra googles and extra caps.  

On Friday we swim all events and relays, The top 16 and relays swim Saturday.

Bus arrives at Aquatic Center @ 5:00pm

Load Bus

Fillmore Stop…

Check into Hotel -The Hampton Inn (1511 S 40 E ST, Provo UT 84606)

Lights out at 10pm

Friday February 10th, 2023

Breakfast 8:30-10am

Go get lunch and other food, load bus at 11:30 am

Load bus at 3:00 pm, drive to BYU

Warmup 4:00 pm

Starts at 5:15pm

Meet ends 9:00pm

Load bus at 9:30pm

Head to the Hotel to eat dinner at hotel (Olive Garden, School paid for it)

Lights out 11:00 pm

Saturday February 11th, 2023

Eat breakfast 8:30-10am

Walk to get food nearby for lunch 11:30, then come back to hotel by 1:00

Check- out of most of the rooms at 1:00, We will keep Bus drivers, 1 girl room and 1 boy until 2:00.

Load the bus at 2:00 pm and head to the BYU pool.

Warmup 3:00 pm

Starts at 4:15 pm

Meet ends at 8:00 pm

Load bus at 8:30 pm

Stop for Dinner on the way home…

Arrive at Cedar High about 12:00-1am

Friday (27th)

1:30pm Load bus at CHS

Warm up time: 3:15p.m. Lanes 1-3

Events: 200 Med Relay, 200 Free, 200 IM, 50 Free

Meet starts at 4:30pm - 6:00pm

Saturday (28th)

Load bus at 6:30am

Warm up time: 8:15am Lanes 1-3

Events: 100 Fly, 100 Free, 500, 200 Fr Relay, 100 Bk, 100 Br, 400 Relay

Meet start time 9:30am - 12:30pm

*There will be a 5 minute break after each relay and a 10 minute break after the 500 Free.

Awards

Individual: Medals for top 3 swimmers in each event.

Relays: Medals for top 3 teams in each relay.

Team: Championship trophy for winning girls and boys teams.

Cedar January- Senior Meet

January 13th & 14th- at the Cedar Aquatic Center

11 Teams will attend

Hospitality items can be delivered before warm up to the equipment room at the pool.

At the end of the meet we will have a coaches and swimmer relay for fun. Swimmers let me know if you want to put together a relay, it has to be 2 girls and 2 Boys.
